KYMMA Leadership

Keeping You, Me, and Memories Alive (KYMMA) is incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people in Central New Hampshire whose lives have been affected by cancer.

Kathryn T. Melanson, President

Kathryn Melanson, KYMMA President

Kathryn Melanson joined KYMMA in 2003 and is one of the original incorporators. She's worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Social Science Department at Plymouth State University (PSU) since 1995. In 2008, she received the Distinguished Operating Staff Award at PSU.

According to Plymouth Week, her colleagues describe her as "patient, skillful and conscientious." PSU President Steen said, "She is enormously respected." Award recipients are considered based on job performance and knowledge, resourcefulness, leadership, and support from students, faculty, and staff.

Kathryn lives in Holderness with her husband, Steve. Her sister, Sharyl, died of cancer.

Diane H. Tiffany, Treasurer

Diane Tiffany Diane Tiffany earned PSU's 2009 Distinguished Operating Staff Award and is a 2005 winner of the Community Counts Award as chosen by Pemigewasset National Bank. The Community Counts Awards Program is designed to encourage and reward the efforts of individuals and organizations within Central New Hampshire who work to improve our communities.

In 2007, Diane was awarded the Presidents Good Steward Award at the annual luncheon of Campus Compact for New Hampshire, a statewide group of college and university presidents and private sector partners whose goal is to integrate civic responsibility and community service.

Diane joined KYMMA in 2003. She has served as the Gift Processor in the Advancement Office at Plymouth State University since 1997 and has been a member of the "March for Babies" committee for the March of Dimes since 2002.

Diane lives in Plymouth with her husband and son. Her mother, Nell Tillotson, died of cancer.

Nikki-Ann Nunes, Secretary

Nikki-Ann Nunes Nikki-Ann Nunes started as a KYMMA volunteer in 2004 and became a KYMMA committee member in 2007. Shortly after that, she was asked to serve on the KYMMA Board of Directors.

Nikki-Ann has worked at Plymouth State University since 2000. She grew up in New Bedford, Massachusetts, moved to Plymouth, New Hampshire in 1999, and now lives in Holderness with her daughter, Chelcey, who's been a KYMMA volunteer since 2004.

Lyndsay J. Devine, Gift Coordinator

Lyndsay J. Devine Lyndsay J. Devine joined Keeping You, Me & Memories Alive in 2004. She's been a stay-at-home mother and childcare provider for the past four years. During the previous five years, she was employed as a Licensed Nurse Assistant at a local medical office.

Lyndsay lives in Holderness with her husband and three young children.

Kelsey Donnelly

Kelsey Donnelly Kelsey Donnelly is a lifelong resident of the Plymouth area and the newest member of KYMMA's Board of Directors.

Kelsey has worked in the Teacher Certification Office at Plymouth State University since 2005.

She currently lives in New Hampton with her husband and two daughters. Both of her grandmothers, her father, and her aunt died of cancer. Her mother-in-law is a cancer survivor.

Rob McAfee

Rob McAfee Rob McAfee joined KYMMA's Board of Directors in 2007 after losing his brother, Dave (at the young age of 21), to melanoma. Rob owns Brother Dave Builders, a business he restructured (after the death of his brother) to work with local charities that assist cancer patients in need.

Rob also contributes considerable energies to St. Baldrick's Foundation, a national non-profit organization that promotes increased awareness about childhood cancer and supports childhood cancer research.

Rob lives in Alexandria with his wife and two daughters.

Mary-Jane Melanson

Mary-Jane Melanson Mary-Jane Melanson was a KYMMA volunteer for several years before joining the Board of Directors in 2008 to become a year round contributor.

Mary-Jane was born and raised in Holderness, New Hampshire and is a Registered Nurse who has been employed by Speare Memorial Hospital and/or its affiliates for over ten years.

Mary-Jane is also on the Board of Directors for Pemi-Baker Home Health & Hospice and volunteers at the Plymouth Regional Clinic.
